My focus for many years in life was predominantly within my professional capacity at work. A full time, pressurised role working as an Area Manager. Being responsible & accountable for 20+ stores meant long days without much time to focus or think about a creative outlet.

After discovering Scotland and the calmness we both felt whilst enjoying a break away from work, I realised that creativity is something that I do enjoy and is important to me. Adele would be engrossed in her photography and I also began to use a camera but to record video footage. Learning new skills and thinking about sequences of footage, manual settings and seeing the result of a finished video was something that i found exciting.

I also invested time in learning to fly a drone, something which brings a different perspective and interest. I love to see the world differently through the eyes of the drone, discovering new & interesting views that would otherwise be concealed from ground level.

Since leaving my full time career and relocating to the Outer Hebrides, I have particularly focused on using the drone, having time to focus on things I am passionate about has opened up different avenues of creativity which i thoroughly enjoy.

In 2023 I invested in an underwater camera and I am looking forward to another different perspective of photography.
