WHAT IS PHOTOGRAPHY BUDDY
Photography Buddy was launched in mid August 2024 to fill a much needed support system for lone individuals who have a passion for photography but may not feel safe, comfortable or prepared to venture out alone for whatever reason.

We are very aware that not everyone feels comfortable heading out alone with their camera equipment. Research tells us that not having someone to go out with can be a huge obstacle for many people in not heading out to enjoy photography, closely followed by concerns for safety. You may be travelling alone, you may be travelling with a partner or friends who don’t share your passion for photography and would feel the benefit of having a photography buddy.
We are happy to accompany you to a variety of locations. The aim of photography buddy is to ensure that you gain the most from your visit to the Outer Hebrides whist enjoy the benefits of local knowledge & experience, feeling safe & at ease.

Price £20 per hour with a minimum 2 hour booking & covers the cost of our fuel.
Photography tuition is not included in this service, however this can be provided via our Photography Tuition Page

Do you dream of seeing the Aurora Borealis, the incredible sight of the northern lights illuminating the night sky?
The Aurora Borealis lights up the night skies between the months of September to April although we are currently heading into a solar maximum meaning northern lights activity is heightened & possible outside of the season. There are some factors to take into consideration for optimum viewing such as dark skies away from light pollution, cloud coverage & of course solar activity.
We have many years experience having enjoyed the spectacular sight of the northern lights and would love to share the experience with you.

Share our knowledge & experience with you alongside information regarding solar activity levels & how best to see the Aurora.
Accompany you for the duration booked.
